I recently bought a gopro and i bought a case online... the wrist housing case. does that still have a mount for putting on a pole?

I'm pretty sure you have to get a separate pole mount.

unless you want to jerry rig something up your going to ned to by the pole mount separately it costs like 12-20 bucks depending on where you get it plus if you don't have any other mounts i'd consider getting a grab bag of them
