It's a 50mm nikon f/1.8 in pretty good condition, no scratch or anything so i would like to buy an adapter for my t2i to use it! but when i look on ebay for an adapter, there is so much model, i don't know wich one to buy !

I have a great fotodiox one that has a chip in it so that exposure metering and such still work. It cost me about 70 bucks.

cant find it on amazon or on the fotodiox site but I managed to order it in store at The Camera Store in calgary

that will work perfectly fine, the guy that said the chips on his are for metering doesn't know what he is talking about, they are focus confirm chips. Your camera can meter with or without them. It is a manual focus lens to begin with, so use it as such and get a basic mount adapter like the one you just linked.

haha yeah i was just kinda bullshitting on that one, i bought it way back when i switched from my d90 over to my 7d and honestly didnt really look into the technical aspects of it. I just knew that it meant I could keep my $1600 Nikkor 80-400 and thats all that really mattered at the time. I was willing to spend that much.

However I will say that if you do intend to shoot at f1.8 its gonna be mad tough to know what is and isnt in focus when looking through the tiny viewfinder, especially in low light when the wide aperture is the most necessary.

i have that exact 50. i use it for macro stuff a lot with my extender tubes.
