So I am trying to mount my new skis but i have a problem. I have the technica cochise and currently they have the rubber touring lugs on them. I took them to the shop and they said i had to get the hard plastic lugs on them before they could mount the skis. Problem is the hard lugs are at home which is far away. My brother has the same boot size so can I just use his boots to get the skis mounted? I have been skiing on skis mounted to his boot and it seems to work fine... thanks for help
tl;dr: can I use boots that arent mine but the same size to get my skis mounted?
