hellbents would suck in pow

Pow question doesn't need to be answered.

Super fun on jumps, a little hard for a skinny ish guy like me to toss them around on jumps because of their weight though.

Surprisingly stable/easy on groomers

the weight thing isn't an issue. they handle like champs even on ice, back seat landings are a little sketch. the sidewalls are fairly thin, but epoxy works ight.

I've skied them for two years now annnnddd here's my opinion:

Powder: fucking sick. obviously. playful and big and float and just do the job like none other when you're playing around. BUT if you're planning on charging big lines, going fast, and hitting bigger cliffs at high speeds and such, they're not number one in my books. They truly are a soft soft ski and so they kind of noodle out on you sometimes, if that makes sense. Not super stable. It all depends what kind of powder skiing you're going to be doing.

On groomers though, they totally hold their own. If you get on a nice slope and start rolling your ankles from side to side a bit, you can rail some mean turns on them.

Park: pretty obvious they aren't the best, but that's clearly due to their weight and size. If you're getting a pair of Hellbents though, I would hope you don't base your decision on how well they ski in park....derp. NOT TO SAY TAHT THEY CAN'T FLOAT CORK THREES OR FIVES OFF BIG JUMPS LIKE COMPLETE BOSSES though. Doing a cork five on a big jump under the ski lift with hellbents ups your park cred like a dungeon quest.

So yeah, there, that's my opinion. And this is from a guy who skis Whistler/Blackcomb all year.

My hellbents are amazing, they float in pow like crazy, and destroy any crud. Ski pretty decent in Icey conditions and hold up on groomers really well ( only chatter abit ). For jumps there amazing, feels like you just float but landing backseat can be abit sketch. Overall a great ski and I would recomend it anyday

Ok thanks I'll probably buy some this summer but I don't really know what year to get. The new 2013 look sick but there like $800 brand new and I don't really know about the 2012 or 11

2010/2011 - 2012/2013 skis are all the same, just different graphics.

i skied the 2013 hellbents today there amazing we had 20 inches and the k2 rep was at our mountain so i tried um out and even at the end of the day when it was skied out i could turn um through bumps and i was skiing 179s and im 5'5 and weigh 120lbs!!

amazing ski!! i love them, especially the o7/o8 i use.. best design :)

they're my urban ski

Amazingly playful but also charge hard in untracked powder. Since they are so soft they get kind of destroyed in chop but they can still handle it.

My buddy broke his Domains last year, and used his 1st year Hellbents for the rest of the season.  He was killing rails with them, if that says anything about them.

Been riding the '11 hellbents for 2 seasons now

So much fun, amazing for in the trees. Seriously crazy feeling how the air gets underneath them doing bigger cliff drops

As previously mentioned they suck for back seat landings. or landing to far forwards.

also amazing how much mounting point makes a difference.

Last season had them at -4 from center and this season at -1.5.. completely different ski now and I love them.
