i heard about NS to years ago from a friend. i got an account but did start posting till a little less than a year ago. it shows ive only had my account for a little less than a year, but i really have had it for 2.

I moved to colorado and I am a snowboarder and really didn't know too much about the freeskiing community. I met two brothers my senior year and they were both on NS and I was like hey I'm going to get an account as well. So I did.

Names Andrew, started skiing this winter. I usually snowmobile but lack of snow made me chase snow to the ski slopes and try something different. Heard about NS through my brothers friend while asking him about new ski gear.

I might be new here, but I'm not new to forums. Pretty active member on Stance|Works as cars are my main money sucker and hobby.

I was taken in by a group of wolves as a child, they taught me the sacred method of Ranschew, now known as tranny finding. using this I ventured off into the world of skiing until one day I came across a man who also was talented in the art of Ranschew, and he said he came from the land of the Newschoolers, I followed him past many places, like the gap of chad, and fought many evil creatures like Shaun White, until we came upon the lands of Newschoolers. I have lived here ever since that fateful day.

Turns out more of the older members reminiscing on how they became aware of NS in this thread rather than n00bs. In that case! I started skiing when i was 7, when i was 13 my friend showed me a video of tanner hall in ski movie 2. I was blown away. Then he showed me this site... 7+ years on im still addicted.

honestly though I came here because Someone was going here during school time and I was wanting a place to waste hours in class on the computer and I used to be a skier turned snowboarder then I turned back to skiing after I just stopped my snowboarding fad...
