FT buckle problems????

so today after skiing, i realized that the middle buckle on my '12 ft hotdoggers is just kinda hanging there, like the the spring to hold it against the surface of the boot is broken but i'm not quite sure... any others have this problem and can it be easily fixed or do i need new parts and if so are they covered by the warranty?
