Hey all. I need to buy some skis as I'll be actually skiing for long enough renting costs the same as buying skis this July. So, I will be skiing at whichever resort I get a job in SE Aus, last time I went to Falls creek, there was so little snow half the place was shut and most skiing was on artificial snow, so hopefully it's better this season/where I get a job, but might not be... However, the problem is I plan to do the same thing over the northern hemisphere winter somewhere in Western North America, where I imagine there will be far more snow.
I'm an intermediate-advanced skiier, and am just starting with park and powder skiing after my last trip, previously had only done groomers... I want to do alot more off piste and park after my last trip but still will end up doing a fair bit on the groomers, probably something like 40/30/30 park/groomers/off piste, really just want an all round ski that'll handle most things, happy to spend more if it'll last longer.
