so i have the LINE Pin poles and for most of you who have them you know that the grip does not last. So my question for anyone who has done this before or for anyone who thinks this is a good idea, how does golf grips on ski poles sound??
I did custom poles with bmx grips that I ordered and fitted them on which wasn't terribly easy. but they're epic because I don't use pole straps anyways and they're nice and grippy
I just used some random ones I found at the store... They were flat and then I just wrapped duct tape around the pole where the grip goes and slid it on and it hasnt failed me!
I don't see how golf grips would work. The diameter of a golf club is a lot smaller than that of a ski pole. Bike grips are a good idea and I recommend going with them. Also consider wrapping some tape around the ends of the grip, you don't want water getting under it.
i just put bike grips over the existing grip on my pin poles (couple seasons old) the ones with the almost tennis racket grip and it fits fine just get some flexible ones so u can stretch them
i fit some rental poles with animal edwin (im pretty sure thats the name of the grip) grips. theyre crazy grippy and look pretty cool. grips were 12 buck at my local bike shop
