Im 5'7. 128lbs and growing, i was looking to get a 14 15 din binding for around 250 my two top pics right now are the 4frnt deadbolt 15 vs the salomon sth14, im looking for something that will never break or be grown out of for at least five years, i know that things can happen but under semi normal circumstances the binding should not break, i ski park and glades in the east coast, my main mountain is smugglers notch so i get a little powder, my one concern isthe heal piece of the sth14 i have a pair of ffg 10s on my ar7s (the only skis i have) and i noticed that i can wiggle the heal piece a little bit
Any advise is greatly apreciated, +k for advise
Most All tab style salomons wiggle while the boot is out on the bindings. The sth series are worm screw heels = infinite fp adjustability throughout the heel track and less play/ slop in the heelpiece
Thanks, as for the fks 140, im worried about the plastic toe and its 300$ thats 50 bucks over buget and when youre 15 its hard to save money because no one wants to hire a 15 year old, i dont know if its worth it for the heal piece on the fks
I've seen FKS heelpieces break, never seen a toe go. Be way more worried about the plastic baseplate on the heel, thats the weakest component on that binding IMO.
I'd go used if you're in a pinch, check whats on sell trade and go from there.
Thanks for all of the helpfull answers, as for buying used i just dont feel comfortable buying on this site, its nothing personal i just dont feel totally confident buying here
