depends on how bad it is, I bruised mine to the bone and it took a month until I could put my boot on, 2 months to hit jumps again. Stretch out your Achilles tendon 3 times a day by standing on a stair with your toes and dropping your heel to the floor. It will help a lot.
Mine get bruised or at least sore all the time from skateboarding and normally im skiing or skateboarding again in a day or 2, sometimes even the next day
bruised one, took 2 months to get better. a week later bruised the other one, took another two months. bruised heels blow. But i found out that the reason they take so long to heal is because the blood pools in the bottom of your foot. so try to soak the foot in warm water and massage it to try and get the blood moving out of there and new fresh blood in. and try to keep it elevated at night. best of luck to you.
nausea is a sign of broken bones, i'm not kidding you.
every instance where i or a friend of mine has broken a bone, the first question the doctor has asked is "do you feel nauseous?" everytime the answer is yes.
