I got into Sierra Nevada College, in Tahoe,Fort Lewis in Durango and Green Mtn. in vermont.
Which has the best social ans ski scene?

Which mountains are best in Tahoe and Vermont?

I know that Northstar at Tahoe is sick, and in Vermont, there's Stowe, Killington, Mount Snow, Sugarbush, and Jay peak for the biggest/best ones

Durango has had some pretty good snow this season, and its a really cool place. They have wolf creek and purgatory down there.

Consider which one has skiing the closest, I don't go to school out of town, but I don't really get how people can pay to go to school, actually do well in school, and still have time to drive a couple hours to get to skiing on their time off.

As bad as the midwest is, I really enjoy having my home mountain 10 minutes away.

I have some friends who go to Fort Lewis in Durango and they love it. They said it has a great party scene and tons of chill people. Durango is a sweet town and you got Purg and Wolf Creek real close to ski at. Wolf Creek generally gets shat on all winter and has great pow days with no lines. I've never personally skied Purgatory but my friends say its a pretty fun mountain as well.

in tahoe you have Northstar, boreal, heavenly, rose, sierra at tahoe, alpine, all within driving distance
