I got full tilt classic boots, black and red, for christmas and was stoked to use it this season. I loved using it every second, it was so warm and so light and so much more playful than my old dalbello kryptons.
On the 5th night of skiing, i noticed my middle belt buckles weren't working. It wouldn't stay closed. The spring came loose. Tried to fix it myself but it wouldn't stay in place.
I went to the full tilt website and ordered the middle buckle for classic boots. I purchased and they informed that it would be sent by a closer dealer and not from full tilt themselves. Couple days went by and I got the buckle in the mail, finally happy that it would be fixed. I opened the package and and noticed that it wasn't the right one. I checked online and they sent me the middle buckle for Influence boots and not the classic boots. I checked the order paper and it never specified what kind of buckles. Just FT Middle Buckle.
So I called up the distributor that sent it out and told them that they sent the wrong kind of buckles. They informed me that they didn't have any classic buckles in stock and that I would have to contact Full Tilt directly. I'll be getting my money back when it's returned, which is no biggie.
Then I call Full Tilt and told them about my situation, they first thing they tell me was to make sure that I click on Classic parts and not Influence parts and try to reorder again which I found insulting. I explained that if I reorder again, it would be the same company that sent out the wrong buckle and it would be pointless. Then they inform me to check a list of dealers on their website and contact them and the worst thing they told me was that they were all out of buckles and that it wouldn't be covered under warranty because I must have dropped them or whatever.
NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY AND PARTS ARE ALL OUT. This is starting to get ridiculous.
Before we finished the conversation the most ridiculous thing I've heard was "I know this sounds bad but there's nothing we can do." SERIOUSLY?!
I was like whatever and tried my luck at some of the local dealers. Store #1 didn't have any parts available and told me to contact Full Tilt directly, I informed them that I was just on the phone and they don't have any parts available. Then they basically told me to just move the buckle all the way back and it will be fine and youre pretty much shit outta luck. I was like whatever, maybe the next place will have it.
I call up place #2 on the list of Full Tilt dealers. They don't even carry Full Tilts and it's a mistake on Full Tilts part because its not even the right store.
Ugh.
I call place #3. They say that they may have some parts and to bring it on in and maybe they could fix it up. I'm like oh sweet, thank god. I go into the place and they look at it and they check the stock to see if they have anything. Nope, nothing. There's nothing they can do and they also tell me to just make it super tight and it will be snug. I informed them that was way tooo tight. They also said, just call up Full Tilt and they should have them. I told them, I did call them and they are all out. Basically they said sorry and that I was shit outta luck.

The buckle broke easily and how is it possible that they do not have any parts available especially considering the springs in the buckles are weak as hell. I find this absolutely ridiculous and I do not want to waste the time to go through the warranty process because I'm planning a trip to Colorado in 3 weeks.
I've only enjoyed my Full Tilts the 5 times I've used them and quite honestly I would not want to buy them again after this experience. This is absolutely ridiculous and a clusterfuck.
