at the end of the day weed is a depressant. I just got broken up with after 2 1/2 years, and i still love her, after she left i quit smoking after smoking pretty much everyday for two years and it feels great. Only regret is that i spent so much of my time with her stoned......

Real Talk.

everytime i try and block her from facebook it can do it then like 2 weeks later i end up unblocking her,

i recently had a shitty breakup from my girlfriend of over a year. Not like part ways peacefully, were talkin full on chainsaw massacre bloodbath. So i came home one day, and took everything she had ever given me, put it in a box, threw it in the fireplace, and watched that mother fucker burn. Sure it still bothers me from time to time but i havent looked back since. I Highly recommend doing this.

i respect that approach and it sure takes courage but for its like im not mad that she left me, her feelings changed, thats just how it goes sometimes. So while it sucks and it has been the hardest thing ive ever had to do (we dated for almost three years) and ive never lost a loved one or anything, i still look back on our memories and smile. Its like the stupid cliche saying "in the end dont cry that its over, smile because it happened." Whatever works for you though, i will gladly admit that if she called me right now and said she wanted to get back together there would be no hesitation on my part, but at the same time i cant just wait around for her. Go out and meet new people, and who knows maybe you find someone that helps you forget about her, maybe she realizes what you guys had was great and she wants to try it again (which is what im still hoping for) but dont wait for her man. The second she finds out that youre waiting on her, she will be pushed away even further. Take the higher road, dont go and post pictures of you with other girls to try and make her jealous, post pictures of you that show that you are happy and can survive without her. someone else already said but when your destroyed on the inside (I still am) you gotta put up a facade on the outside, and eventually that facade will merge into your true feelings. Remember it can always be worse, always. This break up for me has been the slap in the face i needed to quit smoking weed, get in shape, do my absolute best in school (cause thats my future) and most impotantly never lie again no matter how inconsequential or trivial it is. It seems like this is the worst thing thats happened to you, and it may be, but USE it, to better yourself, to become an even better version of you, and in the end that will either help you find someone even better or make her realize that you are the guy for her.

If you're having trouble getting over someone, try getting under someone else.

Usually if your a pretty strong person you can get rid of those feelings pretty quick. Like I broke up with my girl last week, and she only comes over to hang out/do the dirty. But other than that I could care less what she does. You just have to be strong and rise above those. Plus your in a different state, there is no way you should still have feelings for her when you are that far away.
