Meh not really. It's not like I was offended by it, I smoke cigarettes too sometimes. Just seemed weird I guess, I wouldn't really like broadcasting the fact that I smoke cigarettes, doesn't seem like something to be proud of.



there's no denying that what he did definitely taught her a lesson. but unfortunately that lesson was probably more to fear and resent her dad, rather than to learn to respect and appreciate him and all that he does for her. what she posted was definitely ridiculous, but she's a 15 year old girl. that's the kind of shit you have to put up with if you choose to have kids, but turning around and publicly humiliating her right back (except her post probably only had a few hundred views, and this has millions) just doesn't really seem like a good way to deal with it.


that being said, she will definitely appreciate her things more from now on, so I guess he achieved his goal.

I think it's a display of great parenting. The world needs more parents that will follow through with their threats and actually discipline their kids. I think it's a little bit silly he shot the laptop he'd just spent hours working on, but I suppose it sent a stronger message than just selling it.

It seems like you did not listen to him at all.  Also he has a speech impediment, its not like he had a choice in the matter regarding how he talks.  You are stereotyping and making yourself look exceptionally ignorant.  Additionally I bet you and his daughter would make great friends.

but that is primarily the parents fault. they never made em work, they never refused to buy them stuff whenever they saw it.

i remember that it always was a huge thing for me when i got something when we went shopping. and i often didnt ask because i knew i dont need whatever bullshit was infront of me.

i think that parents nowadays (generalization) just dont put as much effort into raising their kids due to whatever reasons.
