Mentally Challenged Kid At My School... Skiing Accident.

  • This past week a kid at my school, his name is Billy, had a skiing accident.

    We don't really know the details but he fell on his head and has serious brain injuries, with serious memory loss, like couldn't remember his own name, his parents, etc... Really sucks right now, he was in my World Civ. class, I sat right across from him. And he always brought a smile to my face,great kid to be around.

    He hasn't been in school for a few days now... Sucks to see so many people getting head injuries while skiing.


    He was 17 years old, played baseball for the school, ALWAYS happy. Here's a picture of him:

If it didn't it would be significantly less appealing or much less fun. It's being on the edge of danger and risking a lot if something goes wrong which makes the sport or lifestyle I might say so enjoyable.

what a loss a kid in my school (13 years old) was playin with his dads pistol with his freind and the freind acidently shot him. he instantly died. the other kid is charged for man slauter and has to live the guilt for the rest of his life

I was working that day...it was pretty bad. Unscheduled left turn on one of the steepest trails at the mountain into the woods...no good. Haven't heard anything since then (besides this). Hopefully it gets better for him, it sucks that a bad situation got worse cause of this. +vibes.

I take my older brother skiing who is mentally challenged. It's so good to see them having as much fun, if not more than the rest of us in our sport. Hope this kid gets better soon.

I can't believe this, Billy's such a good kid. I went to a camp with him in MA for the past 3 or 4 years,i bunked with him for a solid 3 weeks. Billy is literally one of the nicest people i know and i only see him for 3-4 weeks every year. Really hope everything's okay.

Just to show how awesome this kid is, here's him going down a waterslide with a broken ankle.
