I bought some a couple seasons back, back when I lived in Golden still. Never got around to using them.

They're just sitting in my room here, waiting to be used.

dude we're totally trying to sell some shit here and you're cramping our style.

For the record mine did 4 or 5 long touring days around the whistler slackcountry in acceptable fashion. Now that I have a job and money i'll get a real touring setup but for what i needed at the time they were just fine.

I used them for a season. Make sure you bring zap straps, a screw driver, and a bunch of the extra toe screws because you will lose at least one every time you do. The screws on the toe were the biggest issue for me, they come out, and you cant keep going. I ended up putting super glue/locking stuff inside the screw hole before tightening it up. It worked for a little bit...

I used mine all last season and never ever had the toe screw fall out. the hole is was screwed into must've been stripped.

I wear a 28.5 and have never had a problem when you buy them just make sure they can accomidate your ski boots it's much cheaper than buying at bindings and skins.

Snowshoeing is painfully slow sometimes. On hard snow it isn't too bad but carrying skis strapped to a pack is a pain in the ass. I bought a pair of trekkers used from a consignment shop and they snapped right in half twenty feet from the car. I would save your money for a real touring setup or maybe try an MFD plate.

You guys are right i'm just making up that snowshoes work.
Sure they're not alpine touring bindings but imo they're better than day wreckers.

best way to buy trekkers is to go into your local shop (not some jackass chain) and make them an offer. most shops right now are looking to unload stuff cheap. plus the $$ stay local which is always good.
