That was really sick. Good job! The transitions were smooth, the only thing I noticed was that there were a few repeat shots in there and your blacks seemed just a wee bit crushed. But personally I actually liked it like that. Keep up the good work!

Thanks man, yeah, the repeat tricks i noticed a couple days ago, and i like my blacks crushed for some reason, its just choice i guess.

that didn't look too bad

gets really repetitive with the same 3 angles and same 3 features + 1 tiny jump

definitely need a steadier hand, slow motion exaggerates any shake you already have

i understand you guys are young, but a critique is still a critique

get a tripod, change up the focal lengths and you'll be set

Thanks dawg! its more or less i didnt feel like bringing my pod, since its park and all, but imma bring it out next time i go to film probably and yeah, i need to change up focal lengths a bit more! but thanks dawg

no problem, i just feel that if you really wanted a true critique you would have given it your best effort to make the edit as best as you can. laziness isn't an excuse but if you were just filming to have fun and show what your buddies can do then you did your job there.

yeah, i was really looking for a critique, but i'm filming some more today and tomorrow and i'll keep all of that in mind, and also, since i live in ohio, thats the biggest jump within an hour lol

well, i wasn't really speaking towards the riding/size of the jumps. If you wanted a "critique", then you would have put forth your best effort and best skills together (filming wise). If you wanted to know how the skiers preformed then you weren't looking for a cine critique

in light of this "new" ns critiquing, i am going to be blunt

i really think you should work on the filming side of things before you focus on post work. I would rather see a well framed and filmed edit with shitty looking colors, then something thrown together then spent hours with mbl and the 3 way cc.

Just my two cents, i don't mean to be offensive in anyway, just stating my opinion. It seems to be a trend these days that people would rather worry about color then the camera work.

Anywho the colors weren't bad. But I really don't focus on colors, even in my own work just yet.
