Holy shit. I would have ditched that bitch so fast. I don't know if I would have had the nerve to go back right away and pull it back the way he did. Looks to me like he lacks a lot of backcountry knowledge from going alone to getting that close to the cornice, he was just in the wrong the whole time.

either he has no idea what he is doing or he didnt know that there was a huge cliff there. I am thinking he may have never sledded in that area before and had no idea that was there.

On a side not, where ever the fuck he was looks like it would be a greeaaattt place to go skiing.

haha yes or he would have made it on a tv show with some crazy fucking story. It looks like there was enough snow that if he didnt catch any major rocks he may live. The problem would be finding your way out of there without freezing to death. hopefully he is smart enough and packs some stuff in his sled incase he were to get stranded and in that case hopefully he would be able to get to his sled.

either was this video is fucking nuts.

has the video of the skier falling off that cliff and being perfectly fine been posted up yet? I dont know how it wouldnt be yet.

meh, his ski wouldve been fucked, but there was so much powder, he couldve ditched his ski when he fell, and as long as he didnt stat a slide, wouldve tomahawked for a while at worst.


second vid... skier is lucky or really good to get his skis in front of him before he hit those rocks. epic save imo

Yeah but it looks really steep and there were definetely some rock bands down there, if he started tomahawking he would've been screwed. (Especially with an 800 lb sled rocketing down the mountain not far from him.)
