Can you remount skis with a rotten core

last weekend my binding came loose, so i went to check it out and it turns out my core was rotten because the shop that mounted my skis forgot to epoxy the holes. Should i try mounting them either further back or true center and see if it holds or just buy new skis?

New skis. Those are junk. If you can somehow prove it was the shop's fault, get them to give you a deal or something. I assume it's out of warrantee. Also, gear talk.

New skis for sure. If you mount them back further, it won't stay forever, and could go at any moment.
