ideally, go to regular school up until you can drive. you make friends, stay socially normal, then when you can drive, do homeschooling, wake up at 8 or 9, finish by noon, and ski the rest of the afternoon.
thats what i did. not on purpose, but it worked out that way..
I did 9&10 a full schedule, got a lot of classes out of the way, no this year I have 4 classes, get out at 11 everyday and can ski almost every day. Next year I'll either do summer school or home school to finish my other 2 classes
The homeschoolers I know are socially awkward. I think that classes are only a small part of what hs does to a person. It builds character teaches you how to interact with all types of people and prepares u for how real life can be. Whether its getting picked on, having a bad teacher or preparing for some unreasonable teachers exam that can be the reason u get Into the school u want or not. Sports teams as well so many team building experiences that help build lasting friendships. Idk there is so much more to high school than a diploma....I live to ski but most the people I ski with are friends from school..
Social awkwardness in high school only means you're cool enough to do your own thing and not get caught up in that crowd of asshats.
I did homeschool, skied six days a week, graduated early, and got to college by the time everyone else was stuck wasting their time doing their senior year. I'm not saying it's for everybody, but for me it was phenomenally better than public school.
see if your state offers a PSEO style program. Go to college instead of junior and senior year in high school. You get both college credit and high school credit and dont have to pay for any of it. I set my schedule so i only went to school 2 days a week and went skiing the other days
Doing homeschooling my senior year pretty bad ass get to ski all day and get to learn about shit that's actually interesting i wish i had started earlier. Also i'm not socially awkward.
