Armada Thall or Halo?

Im getting new skis and i dont know if i should get thalls or halos. Or should should i wait till next years armadas??

it all depends what your looking for! i have a pair of halos and they are the best ski i have every skied!

if you like speed go with T-hall for more stability! otherwise halos are funny skis, light and easy to switch and play and learn tricks

i havent skied the thalls but i have halo's and they are a very fun ski but when it comes to riding hard all mountain they kinda blow ass. so if you are gonna spend a lot of time out of the park i'd get the halls or maybe ar7's

Ive got this years T-Halls with the peak 12 bindings on them and they are amazing. The best ski ive ever skied. They are solid on jumps and rails, they have good pop in them and ive kinda thrashed them in the park and they are still holding up perfect. My bindings are mounted at center too!

mount halos at recommended point!halos are not to mount on the center, it will gave u the feel like you are standing toward on the skis due to the rocker tip! its my opinion with my 2 cent :)

i mounted mine center after skiing them at -1.5 for 2-3 days. gotta say i love them 1000000 times better centered. they ski absolutely fine, people just like to be tech heads and get all "HEY THOSE ARNT MADE TO BE MOUNTED CENTER, U R IDIOT." when in reality you should ski your skis the way you like.

honestly no not really. I've even skied them a few days in 6-10inches fresh and they were fine. They carved fine until the edges went round. Not spectacular but for park with a bit of all mountain it was no problem.

I finally decided to try the elf shoe park skis after many years of thinking they would be unnecessary and awkward. I got some used original Alphas, which are probably most like the new Halos. I must say that I love them!!!!

Initiating turns is amazingly easy. I have never had as much control over my skis when I was riding through crappy snow + mogul filled steep runs. The ski turns exactly where and when I want it to. The light swing weight made all my rail tricks come around much more consistently. I was afraid they would be unstable at speed, but they do not feel short to me at all. I am used to riding ~181cm skis in the park, and the 182s give me all the same support. I landed off center on jumps and never felt unstable for a minute. They also never feel "stuck on edge" and give me a struggle with an awkwardly weighted landing. I am never going back to regular camber park skis!
