I am thinking about going to the casting call for the new season of Wipeout. Anyone want to audition with me? aka: get your ass kicked on national TV.

that show is rigged. they'll only pick uncoordinated and clumsy people to go on their course because it makes for better TV. if they only chose athletic and fit people, most of them could get to the end no problem thus making the show suck.

im not saying that show is easy, some of it would be really hard, but the level of fitness/timing&coordination on that show is pretty low.

The casting call is at the ESPN zone in downtown disney on Saturday Feb. 11 (this weekend)

If you get chosen to compete, you have a 1 in 24 chance of winning $50,000. Pretty fun if nothing else.

I can't speak for the american version but my friend competed in the canadian one despite being a national level decathlete so they can't all be uncoordinated. What they look for is diversity and personality generally, there'll always be a few people in good shape as well as some ditzy, attractive girls and some overweight, middle-aged people.

seems to be all people need on that show to be a success. even when you fail, the crowd loves to watch half naked girls getting wrecked while running at full speed into a painful bail.

Wear the steeziest, fattest tall-tee to the event. Make sure it has a Jibberish or Saga label all over it. Also wear full tilts and ask how to get to Chad's Gap.

act like you are really clumsy for the casting call and really stupid, but then when you get chosen, show off the real athlete inside. (hopefully u r actually an athlete)
