Which Mustang?

Should my brother get....

2007 standard for 11k
2005 GT for 15k

If he got the 2007 he wouldn't need any loan, while if he got the GT he would need to borrow money (roughly 4k)

Which would you go with and why?

Obviously the GT has more power, but it's 2 years older, gets worse gas mileage and he will need to borrow money. This will be his every day car too, not just a weekend car.

He test drove a 198? porsche, sorta liked it, but too much maintenance since it was 25ish years old

He's getting a mustang, he likes the body, it has good power, it's not bad priced, it's an american car, and most of all, he likes it. It's his money. No one in this thread will change his mine, he asked me advice on the V6 vs V8, I figured someone on NS would help, and some of you have.....Best advice all thread, V6 is for your wife/daughters sweet 16 (would probably explain the color scheme on it compared to the GT).....and when he gets it he is getting custom paint on the side that says 'Detroit'

It's between which style/year/color etc

If I named the thread....."Which car should my brother get? He has 10k cash to play with and good credit" I would expect different answers

But I said which mustang, meaning that's decided



Anyways he's test driving now 4 different mustangs from 3 dealerships on Saturday.... then comes the negotiating which for those of you whom have bought from dealerships knows it can take well over a week
