there is more snow coming to tahoe! its cold as fuck in the valley and the rain is going up there. im predicting snow levels at 4000 feet.

Windy with rain and snow. Isolated thunderstorms. Snow level lowering to 6000 feet. Snow accumulation 6 to 12 inches above 7000 feet and 2 to 5 inches of snow elsewhere. Lows 18 to 28. Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Gusts over 70 mph near ridges.

... WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 PM PDT TUESDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SACRAMENTO, CA HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WARNING.

PRECIPITATION WILL BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES TONIGHT AND CONTINUE THROUGH TUESDAY. SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST WINDS GUSTING OVER 70 MPH AT TIMES WILL ACCOMPANY THE HEAVY PRECIPITATION CREATING WHITE-OUT CONDITIONS. SNOW LEVELS ARE FORECAST TO START OUT BETWEEN 5500 AND 6000 FEET THIS EVENING... THEN LOWER TO 4500 TO 5500 FEET ON TUESDAY AS A COLD FRONT SWEEPS ACROSS OUR AREA.
