Clearly they don't need SOPA to "kill the webz". A lot of smaller private torrent sites have already begun blocking access from US IPs, you know, along with moving domains hurriedly outside the US as well.

I agree with this, and this is why the internet will continue to thrive and exist about the same as it does now. However, for users who are within the borders of the US, and for the time being, have no way to get out, SOPA's influence is undeniably there. Why are these companies pulling all ties to US soil? because of SOPA and other bills like it designed to hamper the internet.
