It's just rail jam this year. I have nothing to do with Cascade this season, so if you want to let them know how you feel about what has become of the MWO, I'd recommend you email them at info@cascademountain.com or post on their facebook page.
I am personally disappointed about what the Midwest Open has become the last few years... we all know it use to be so sick and so much fun when we had the super park.
I moved to California so I don't know what's going on, but I think they're just giving up on it pretty much. There's no one to build or design a decent jump, so they just aren't doing it. And no one has showed up the last couple years because the location they gave us didn't work.
Not at Cascade. There biggest jump is maybe a 15ft roller. There park is a complete joke honestly. If want a big jump to hit go to Tyrol Basin. Its 60ft to knoll. Granite Peak also have amazing parks.
yes, but in years past they would specifically make one for the mwo that was maybe 30-40ft. which they are not even doing this year. whoever runs this event needs to think of moving it to granite, tyrol is good but more people might come from minnesota or michigan cuz it will be a shorter drive than tyrol
ok so then granite just needs to come up with a different name or something? maybe like wisconsin open. tyrol already has their end of season bash, so maybe if granite does one but gets more sponsors for it then it could be on level of how mwo open once was?
