Tried getting tickets for the show in Montreal. The floor sold out in about 5 minutes so I didn't get tickets. I'm not paying $73 and sitting in seats. That being said, it probably will be an amazing show. Now I'll have more money to go see The Avett Brothers, Opeth, and Meshuggah.
ill be there and i didnt think ide have a chance.
getting those tickets was near impossible. i was skiing the day they were released and had my dad and my friend trying to get me tickets but ticketmaster got f'd up and they couldnt. that night tickets were already listed up to 1400 on some websites, my friend paid 62 and his was listed at 300 online :S
BUT due to an incredibly lucky turn of events another one of my friends knows someone from livenation so im going to see them from the LIVE NATION/ STAFF zone haha im so stoked!
(cool story yes i agree)
Contemplating pulling the trigger on some tickets for Detroit. Waiting to hear back from some friends. Best seats available right now are second level row 20, and they're still 73 bucks.
yup, mine was 72 after all the fees and its the highest level in the back corner.... lol. but i don't care, i've been wanting to see the chili peppers for a long long time.
Great gig, awesome venue, like a huge amphitheater, epic jams, especially a four-man tag team on the drums with Chad, Flea and two other people. It rained all night long but the heat emanating from the absurd amount of people jumping around (and my fever maybe) kept the cold in check. Second best concert ever, great night, played for a bit over two hours.
