everyone who's a fan of live music needs to see this film. it's completely incredible. some of the best janis joplin footage I have ever seen. wow. just wow. but yeah, for those of you who have no idea what i'm talking about... there's a documentary in theatres now about the festival express train that traveled across canada in 1970. it's completely epic. and canadians- does anyone know if this train still runs? is it transcanada?

i saw that one, i am a HUGE fan of the band. i love it when they buy the booze store. if that train still runs, i need to ride it drunk for a while.

yeah me too, when i got home i listened to the stage fright album about 7000 times... the band is so underrated.

yes, they really are. i like the northern lights southern cross a whole lot, acadian driftwood is a great song. you ever seen the last waltz?

I wanna see this movis so bad, I just got the Greatful Dead Almanac and it says not available til NOV 15, I'm definitly going to order it though, I also wanna get the Grateful Dead Movie

i will also take back any harsh comments i made aimed at jerry garcia. this is a bold move, but i think that guy was just too cool. 'onward and upward, man!' but deadheads are still smelly hippies
