Does anyone have any suggestions for a USB MIDI keyboard?
I would like:
1. under $100
2. some knobs, pads, and a piano keyboard
Thanks!

No shit dude, go get the keyboard for rockband. It's inexpensive and it's a legit midi controller. Bet you could find one mega cheap.

Yeah I used to have a sick korg setup and would do stuff for my buddies band. I went overseas and had to sell my setup but recently the same buddy was asking me to add some after effects to an edit. We were trying to figure out what to use as a controller and up popped the rockband keyboard when we goggled it. He had one right in the next room and it worked great. It's even got a slide bar. Serious bang for your buck unless your tryin to get weighted keys, etc.

Does that have weighted keys by any chance?

Most anything with weighted keys is gonna be well over your $100 budget.

Don't get one with pads and knobs. Get the Akai LPK 25 (25 keys). Its inexpensive ($60) and has a built in arpeggiator.

nope, like said before when you get into weighted youre probably going to want to step that budget. The keyboard I'd sell has 32 velocity sensitive keys (useful if you want to program drum lines via keyboard) and is the perfect board if you just want to make basic beats, enabling yourself to encorporate more technical midi samples
All times are Eastern (-5)
