Just finished my second edit of the season. Thought I would share. As always critiques are much appreciated. The first few shots I had to mess with a bunch because, the original shots my WB was messed up. Also a few of my shots are still out of focus but I am working on that. Thanks for watching, Cheers.

I have not been getting the camera out as much as I have wanted, but here is what I have collected. A few weeks at Purgatory Mountain, Durango. Also one night at Chapman hill. Let me know what you think.



Filmed with a Canon T2i and 50mm lens.



Edited and Color Corrected on Sony Vegas Pro 10.

good stuff

critiques:

too shaky
too many shots out of focus
some shots of the skier too tight
didn't like the whip pan at 1:57, but whatever, no big deal

Yeah I agree, all I had in my arsenal was my broken walmart tripod and a 50mm f1.8. Still getting used to the frame size and focus of the 50mm. But I prefer using it over my kit lense. Saving up right now for a manfrotto setup, or something in similar range. Yeah, I actually didn't mean to do the whip pan. I thought he was going the other direction, but I made do. Thank you for your thoughts, will work on my sequencing, focus, and steadyness this weekend.

Okay,
1. Colour is good, I actually quite like the subtleness of some of the shots.
2. As mentioned by Chai$, some shots were a little shaky. Easily fixed though.
3. A variety of extreme long shots with closer shots and changing the angle on one trick could further enhance the clip.
4. Don't use a song that has been used before (especially by the mighty michael clarke or heath or dtf for that matter).
Oh and some more full body shots would be nice.

Good on the whole though. Wish I had a t2i!
