Moving to Seattle, where to ski?

I'll be moving to Seattle from Michigan in a few weeks. This has been one of the worst winters ever in Michigan and I've only been out once this season, so I'm really looking to do some skiing.

What are the best places to ski around there?
What are the closest places to ski if I'm in Seattle?
What are the closest places to ski if I'm in Bellevue?

Also, if anyone wants to meet up for a drink/go skiing, I'd be down since I'll hardly know anyone.

Wow, we have a NS legend moving into our city.

FARP would best be served to ski at Stevens Pass, and possibly Snoqualmie from Bellevue, only because it's so damn close and mildly cheap.

Honestly for me if I didnt have such a killer college pass deal at stevens I would just mix it up. Ride snocompton/alpy one year, stevens the next, and crystal the next~

Ya definitely stay down around seattle area, hardly any crowds, tons of awesome terrain and you can do it in the park.

snoq-1 hour
stevens 1.5 hours
crystal 2 hours
baker 3 hours
white pass 3.5 hours
all from seattle and yes they are not perfect. ive gotten to snoq in 45 minutes once

Snoqualmie is the most convienent and has an alright park, although the terrain is shitty unless you go to alpental. Alpental also has good BC access. Snoqualmie also has the heaviest, wettest snow of the seattle mountains. Stevens is a good even mix of everything, with a good park and pretty good terrain. Also has the most even mix of good and shitty snow. Crystal has the most terrain of any ski area in WA, and also has some of the lightest snow (still not comparable to utah or colorado though...), but is also a bit further away and its park is a complete joke. Baker has a much smaller inbounds than Crystal or Stevens, but has great BC access, and gets a shitload of snow (world record snowfall). I tend to ski a lot at snoqualmie/alpental because it's close and I don't own a car, and also just when I'm in the mood to ski park. I ski Crystal almost as much as I ski snoqualmie, and I definitely like it a lot better. There are also some crystal/snoqualmie pass deals that you can look into. My favorite mountains are Crystal and Baker for sure, because they both get a lot of snow, and while park is fun, it's not my favorite.
