A fan of WW2? Short Films?

I came across this on Vimeo, it's absolutely amazing. With only a budget of 70K that left nothing for special effects, this is absolutely stunning, I had to post it. For any videographers/editors of NS, you would know how much time had to be put into the special effects of that. By far my favorite short that I have ever seen. Give it a look.

THAT WAS EXACTLY MY THOUGHT, this guy needs to make a full movie. There is one about fighter pilots in WW2 hitting theatres now though, I think I may go and see it. I feel like WW2 may have been the golden age of all airplanes, I mean, the sound of a Merlin is just irresistible.

No one is a fan. But there are people, like myself, who are fascinated by the time period and the war itself.


lamptard-If you enjoy wwii and wwii planes, I would recommend the book Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand. Absolutely amazing story and book. Entirely true, its about Louis Zimmerman, an olympic distance runner before the war who crewed bombers in the pacific, was shot down, survived for two months in a raft, and for several years in the highest japanese prison camps. Definitely, definitely should read.

By "A Fan of WW2?" I meant war movies of the time period, the time period itself, NOT the actual war.
