Durability on the Surface no times?

my mom is willing to go half and half on with me on new skis IF theyre durable, and the surface no times are pretty inexpensive and ive heard only good things, i looked around and couldnt find anything so any help is much appreciated.

do not purchase them unless you ski once a month. if you did some research you would realize that they are possibly the worst ski durability wise. of the 30 some reviews i have read of surface park skis i think maybe two people have said their skis are still intact. apparently they are pretty fun for the first run before they break

I have double times. i use them for 100% park, and there's a gap between the base and core along the edges underfoot, missing 3" total of metal edges.
that's 3 months of hard hard hard riding, going over rocks, cement, corrugated chainsaws and burning dogs. its the longest any pair of skis has lasted me, so i say F the no times, get double times!
mine are 2011's though
surface's customer service was key for me too, love them

I dont trust no times but i do trust the double times. I rode them last year and now my friends riding that same pair this season...no problems other than a couple edge cracks from rails abuse. The only times i snapped my joysticks/old watchlifes was skiing pow. I think if you keep them on groomers they do just fine.

I got these skis today, considering I'm only 115lbs and a beginner park skier i don't think it'll be a problem for me.. I'll let you know how i like them and how they hold up.

Surface skis have sketchy durability, they may be cheap but IMO its worth it to pay a few hundred more for a ski that will actually hold up and not leave you hanging halfway through the season.

If your looking for durability get K2's, most bombproof skis IMO.

how does surface have such bad feedback on their durability?? I just picked up a pair of 2011 skullcandy no times and they look sick as fuck even though i haven't used them on the snow yet, i think the durability wont be an issue for somebody like me who's only 140 lbs..
