My GoPro keeps dying on me at the hill.

Just got a new Gopro Hero 2 and got the extra battery pack to go with it but every time i go to film it dies really quick. Mind you i do live in Canada so the cold cant be good for it but i think it should last longer than it does. Anybody else having the same experience or is it just me?

it legits only lasts about 40 mins, max if its fully charged. im thinking it may be faulty? other ones ive filmed with have lasted quite longer.

this is what i did first if you have a new phone charger you can take out the usb cord for your phone and use it for the gopro and just bring it up to the mountain and re charge it at lunch.

Or just take out the battery like while driving up to your mountain and when your not using it

that helped me hope it works for you
