Not to be that guy but i got a boot question

so right now im using some really stiff old lange race boots and every jump im landing my shins get banged against the front and end up hurting alot

i was wondering what i should do because they feel great on my feet but not my shins

Boots can usally be softened. Races boots will often have bolts to adjust the flex. If this still does not make them softer, adjustments can be made to the inner cuff to soften the boot. A v shape of plastic can be cut out allowing the boot to flex more.

Take them to a bootfitter and sea what he can do for you.

Try not to land backseat, or stick beer koozies in the front of your boots.

this. i put them in the back too sometimes to eliminate the pain from backseat landings that makes the top of the boot press into the back of your calves.

yeah I had to rent boots the other day and they were fairly stiff, by the end of the day my shins were pretty badly bleeding, really makes me appreciate how amazing my hot doggers are.

Shin bang bruises suck!!! really the only thing that really helps is not landing jumps on the flats which push your shins up to the front of your boot! it sucks! I also have recently purchased some under armor socks, those are the shit! they have like quadruple layering on the shins so its more cushon fo yo feet. But try not landing on the flats that will give u bruises all day

Race Boots=not fun on jumps. If theyre fit for a race performance, that means you have little wiggle room for your feet, a plastic bootboard, and a very stiff flex.

Suggestion, get a new bootboard if you can, and cut the flex down.

yeah well there was practically no liner so it was like skiing in a shell, and it wasnt the size it was the boot shape
