I've been riding park now for about a decade and am getting into whats considered the "elder years" for park skiing. I'm 25, YIKES, but I'm no where near done with the park. With that being said I'm not biased to any particular park ski company, the only thing I'm consistent with when riding is the fact that I'm more into jumps then rails, so I always prefer a ski with a stiffer profile.
I've tried numerous skis since finally deciding to get away from Rossignol and the reason being Ididn't think what they charged was up to par with the quality of the ski (even with the discount I received). So I got to wondering what the best skis out there for the buck were.
Now I get new skis every year because I beat the crap out of em every year, so I've tried out Salomons, Volkls, and Lines since. And this is my second year in which I've purchased a Line product, I'm riding Stepups now which I love, but I'm weary that the full wood construction may not hold up too long.
So my question is this, what do you guys think is the best park ski out there for the dollar? I haven't had the opportunity to ride a lot of the new up and coming companies products yet but have heard a lot of good things. Do you guys have any opinions?
