Is Crested Butte too hard for beginners?

I am trying to take my girlfriend to Crested Butte and I am wondering if it will be too hard for her? Ive never made it over to Crested Butte but I found a sweet deal and am just wondering if she would have a hard time if she has never been in rode before?
She is pretty athletic and probably wont have a problem. I think she will pick it up quick but I just want to know if she will have a miserable time because the terrain will be too hard.

My girlfriend's family took a trip there last year and her dad, who maybe skis once a year (on some old shitty straight skis) managed to do fine and have a great time, so I'm sure your gf will be able to manage.

Nope, the lower part of the mountain is fairly gentle, and it does not get too step until you go up higher on the mountain.

Ive never been but I assume like many resorts it will have easier slopes for beginners.

It's definitely ok for beginners. I went on a trip awhile back, that also involved people who had only gone skiing once or twice in their life, and where completely fine.

plus pretty much all of the extremes aren't open due to lack of snow, she'll have no problems.

Ya they'll definitely have some good terrain open by march! Is it just you and you're girl going or some other friends, you know anyone living in CB?

Right now its just me and my girlfriend and a friend of ours. A friend from boulder might drive down but not sure yet. Dont know anyone in CB. Just found a sweet deal for it all thats why i picked it lol
