I have recently broken and detached a brake on my look px12 jibs. I can still get in them, but there is a little wiggle room. Is it possible to cut down on this movement, or should I just wait until I have the time to buy a new brake?
just a fair warning, if ski patrol catches you without a brake on your ski, they are going to flip shits. if you have a little wiggle room, its probably not the smartest thing to ski on it- you will release more easily, and once you do, your ski will take off down the hill like a rocket. your smartest option is to stop by a shop on your way to the hill and if they shop has any decency, they'll slap on a new brake for you for $10.
It's an easy fix and most shops will have a extra px brake. And if you ride with it the little hooks get fucked up an it is a lot harder to put a new one on (my friend did this and the normally 30 second swap took about 20 minutes to realign the hooks so it would fit)
