Buying second hand skis

someone is selling his last years 159 PE's online and thats exactley what I was looking for. It has been used 6 times with no major scratches and all that and its for $250. This is like perfect but I dont know if I should buy used things online so I dont know...just tell me your opinion on this

first off get pics of the entire ski and make sure they have only been used 6 times then decide if there worth 250 when you can but them new for 350

well I would buy them new but the promblem is that I cant find them. Anyways he has pics and they dont look bad

Think of it this way: You're just adding days to them. Just because they're scratched or gouged doesn't mean they're a bad ski, you're just going to do the same thing to them after you've been riding on them for 6 days. I rode my Armada's for about 25-30 days I think and the topsheets are pretty cut up... but the ski still rides the exact same.

yeah^ get them if you have pic's.. It wont kill you to ride scratched skiis your gonna F them anyways.

I got screwed by a kid on ebay last year. Make sure he's got good reviews from people, if its on ebay. If he's like a first time seller, dont do it, but if hes got experience, go for it great deal.
