So i have been going around to every shop in my area that sells ski boots.
They all have like mostly 5 boot models. When you ask them to try some on they just ask what size your feet are. (this is already a bad sign)
So i make them measure my foot the only thing they do is the length, and not even bother to look at how wide the foot is, or where the arches are etc.
And even then they bring out boots that are absolutely massive i cant even feel the end of the liner with my toes, feels like its miles away.
I know liners thin out a touch after you use them, so why bring out boots that are massive.
When i ask to try on smaller pair. They say ohh this is the smallest we got. So i feel they just bring out stuff they have and when they measure my foot they know what boots they have and just like, ahh these will do.
The Question here is.... WTF am i ment to do. I have been riding my step dads boots and man they are way too big for me. Plus they are so old the liners are thin, and just to make them nto fall off i have to make them real tight which puts the plastic pressure points through the liner onto my feet, some days get proper bad feeling.
(Theoretically I can just measure all my foot dimensions at home with bit of paper etc, but this wont help for the fact that i have not many boots to try on. I would still probably buy the boots online once i have tried them out and am satisfied with he fit. and just bring them to some shop to get them moulded.)
Any advice kindly received, thanks.
