Help with longer shutter shots

So I've been trying to shoot some light trails from my roof and Im not really thinking im doing it right. Like Im obviously getting the trails but why is the picture orange ish. I talked to a friend and he said its the exposure but when I put it on shutter priority mode and gets the exposure spot on it still gets the same orange tint. This picture was one of the shutter priority ones. The only thing I can think of is that the street lights are kinda orangish but not that much. Any Tips?

Try changing your white balance, all the street lights are tungsten bulbs so try using the tungsten setting or change it manually to like 2800k-ish

It's due to white balance. Orange street lights make the photo have an orange cast. To fix it, you can just fiddle with the white balance presets on your camera. After the fact, use the white balance adjustment in any photo software to adjust the color.
