Made this awhile ago, but it`s the greatest dinner I`ve ever made.
For all you veggies out there
(I apologize for the pic, I`ve made much better since)
Portobello mushroom burger.
Bun: served on a toasted cheese bun. The burger gets a bit juicy, so I cut more towards the top of the bun instead of the middle.
Toppings: in this pic, we have green onions, and a salad leaf mix (I buy this instead of lettuce, this way, if I feel like I just want salad, boom! I have it). Since this pic, I've added tomato, red onions, and even more mushrooms. This pic has cheddar cheese on it. I've also used jalepeno havarti as well.
Burger: Portobello patty, marinated in olive oil, red wine vinegar, sage and oregano. Marinate it in this mix(I do about 7 minutes, letting it soak on both sides).
Cooking it: After having it marinate for some time, grill it. I have it grilled for about 10 minutes, just on a stove, medium heat. You can usually tell when it is done (all soft and juicy). Add to your bun, on top of all your toppings, and enjoy.
