Replying to "Movie recording has been stopped automatically"

I know i have the right SD card in my t3i, (transcend class 10 16GB) and I'm filming in 30 degree weather, so it's not because of overheating. The reason is the t2i/t3i won't record more than 4GB of data at a time... I looked all over google and various forums, but I can't find a way to turn this feature off, or if it's even possible to turn it off. So NS, can this function be turned off? Or when i film a time lapse do I have to manually start it every 4GB period? Thanks, -Derek
