Anyone know how to wash a jacket, i have a white jacket and its getting pretty dirty, so i went to a local show for some of that special soap for washing jackets and he told me to use baking soda and cold water... has anyone herd of this method or used it before?

Wash your jacket with Nikwax Tech Wash. Then once washed, spray on a DWR coating like Nikwax TX Direct. Done.

This. I wash with tech wash then wash with tx direct. Wash in TX Direct is kinda pricy its 13 bucks a bottle and you use the whole thing when you machine wash.

Don't use the wash-in style of water proofing- no point in water proofing the inside of your jacket...
