personally, i feel like it was a mistake to build the jump in the flats, i think that they need a jump with a long run in and a long natural landing so riders can take the jump as deep or as mellow as they want.

Im really stoked for tonight. i think were gonna see some nice trips, some innovative dubs and lots of good style. I think we may also see a triple attempt on a slopestyle course from mark or torstien.

Was thinkin the same,once i watched the video, they def are taking it deep, but as he comes over the gap he really isnt very high over the knuckle. Its a step up for a big air comp?! Its a pretty sick step up, but they did kinda blow it. Dont get me wrong its still super dope and I love the x games every year but...... meh on big air this year, it will be impressive but they should have built a different style of jump for this comp. just 2 cents from a park park builder. =)

My advice is that they should have shifted the whole jump about sixty feet forward so that the end run tranny leads right into the jump instead of having a lot of flat ground before it. In the end, its a misleading jump. We are all so used to the step down boater from the past with the super flat landing. Ish is gonna pop off tonight. I'm excited to see multiple trips thrown down. Switch trip 12, forward trip 14, and dare I say, possibly switch trip 14?

As everyone's said, horrible jump construction.

20 feet longer, twice as long for the landing, and way more tang in that takeoff.

they would need a steeper run to accomodate for the fact that the landing is much lower than the takeoff, and steeper so you dont die. and i dont think a lot of people would like the idea of throwing their first triple on a massive stepdown.
