You're absolutely right that the trajectory of this jump is WAY off. Aerials figured out a long, long, long time ago that if people are going to be multiple flips, you need KICK.
This jump is a floaty style jump, which is wicked for spins. But lets face it, big air isn't about spins and slow style anymore (never was), it is about triples. You want triples, build kick.
That one snowboarder almost hit his head on the landing trying to get the last flip in. You'll see the same type of thing with the skiers if they don't kick the jump up before it. It'll be really hard to huck the triple in, and that is what everyone wants to see.
Seriously - if we're going to continue this trend of triples, we need jumps with shorter decks, steeper landings and WAY more kick.
