How to zoom dissolve in after effects?

I was wondering how I would go about doing a zoom dissolve in after effects? can't find any tutorials on the matter apart from buying a pack that costs like £100

The effect i mean is like the one at 2:02 here:

how'd you get your after effects? Torrent, crack, or lucky serial?

you don't need after effects to do that. It looks like it is light rays effect with a digital zoom and possible radial motion blur.
