Could I hit an air bag with a broken collarbone?

Ok, so I broke my collarbone almost 2 weeks ago. I saw the doctor and he said it's begun to heal but I shouldn't go back to skiing for like 5 weeks. This seems like forever to me but i also don't want to re break it. This got me to think about maybe just bag jumping. There is a bag jump pretty close to me so it would be an easy way for me to get some skiing in while im injured. Is this a good idea, or could it still potentially re injure the bone? Thanks for any input.

Sparknotes: Could falling on a bag jump re break my collarbone?

depends how you land. it will most likely re-break it if you land on your side. i would just let it heal before doing any of that.

sounds like a dumb idea to me.
Why not just ski around on some groomers, maybe pick up a camera and film a little.

Wow you have actually got to be retarted. If I have any advice for you just rest and take care of it. I didnt and now a year later its still kinda fucked.

I've never hit an airbag,but it seems like even if you stomp a trick into an airbag you're still gonna fall over on it. Not worth the risk at all.

I know it's real easy to fall over after a landing but the reason i thought it could be a good idea is because its obviously a much less forceful fall than on snow. Based on all these comments I no longer think its a good idea.

Bad idea
Air bag kind of hurt becose it stops you 1 shot. Not like a snow landing where you keep going down the hill, after couple of jumps you start to feel it. It's good to try new stuff but definitly not safe with broken collarbone.

I would reccomend it because you willl allways fall sideways pretty quickly on landings and also I've been on some bad ones that when I roll/walk off I can feel the ground; so............. NO, I can see why you thought it might be ok, but infact it's a seriously bad idea ... hope it heals up soon btw

Ok i've never hit a bag before and was unaware how the landing isn't actually really soft. I get that it's a bad idea now.
