So early on in the season I learned frontflips on a 15 foot jump. I just kinda hucked my upper body over my skis and tucked. I feel like there should be a easier way to do these. I also was told to scissor kick but I didn't have much of a clue to what that was. (sorry for spelling im on mobile)
It really doesn't matter. I know plenty of people that do it both ways, and I've seen people frontflip on basically flat using both methods. It's all personal preference
Punch front, just like in the video. Stagger your feet, rock back then quickly forward at the lip and spring off of your leading ski. It'll flick you around really fast if done right so make sure to accommodate for the size of the jump you're flipping off of.
