So, my full tilts are really creaky when i flex them forward. It started after a backyard sesh at my friend's house when it was raining. These are new drop kicks BTW. I unbuckled the boot and flexed the cuff forward and that seems to be the problem, any suggestions? also they are giving me alot of shin bang. i rock them pretty tight and i stay in the front of my boots most of the time.
Everyone who says "DONT LAND BACKSEAT" straight up don't know what they're talking about because they don't ski.
If you're trying new tricks, landing backseat is unavoidable.
your boots probably are not tight enough. you most likely have a large space between the liner and your shin. Tighten your fucking boots. every boots "creak"
There is a difference from landing backseat and skiing backseat though, and continuous skiing backseat can cause shinbang. But, the most common problem is the boot doesn't fit, or you're not buckling them up to the proper fit.
As far as the creaking is concerned, that's very common with FTs (and most other 3 piece boots), it's cause of the plastic rubbing against itself, don't worry about it.
well that is walking in ski boots 101. order of buckles start with the middle........ALWAYS. to get your heal snug in the boot then commence in tightening the rest of the buckles.
